Accessibility statement
We want our website to be accessible to people with disabilities and work towards that. This statement describes the adjustments made, the checks performed, what has not been checked yet, and the known limitations.
It covers the main site in English (Home, About us, Property management, Contact and this page), the property catalog and property pages in Hebrew (properties.dyzenhouse.com), the personal property pages our brokers send by link, and the agreement signing page (sign.dyzenhouse.com).
Adjustments made
Checked on the main site, the catalog and the property pages:
- Structure: header, navigation, main content and footer regions; one main heading per page; no skipped heading levels.
- Keyboard: all controls are standard links, buttons and select lists, and we checked that each can be reached and used with the keyboard, without keyboard traps. A clear 3-pixel outline shows the focused item. The main site has a “Skip to content” link.
- Text alternatives for images; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Language: the main site is marked as English and the catalog as Hebrew, right to left; Hebrew text on the English site is marked as Hebrew.
- Zoom and screen size: zoom is not blocked; content reflows at 200% zoom and at 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling; increased line, letter and word spacing does not cut off text; buttons and menu links are at least 44 pixels tall.
- Contrast: no contrast violations were found in the automated check, in light and dark mode. The site follows the device’s dark mode setting.
- Catalog and property pages: filter buttons work with Enter and Space and announce whether they are selected; select lists are labelled; the number of results is announced to screen readers; the photo viewer opens from the keyboard, takes focus, changes photo with the arrow keys, and closes with Escape, returning focus.
- No forms, no time limits, and no audio or video that plays automatically on the main site, the catalog or the property pages.
How we checked (24 October 2026)
- Automated check with axe-core 4.10.2 (WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 rules, levels A and AA), in light and dark mode, on every page of the main site, the catalog, sample property pages, a sample personal property page and the opening screen of the signing page. Findings were fixed; no violations remain.
- Focused keyboard-driven checks in WebKit (Safari’s engine) and Chromium (Chrome’s and Edge’s engine): keyboard navigation of every page, focus visibility, the phone menu, catalog filters, the photo viewer, 200% zoom, text spacing, language marking and heading structure.
- High-contrast mode (Windows), emulated: content and buttons stay readable and the focus outline is visible.
Not done: a test with a screen reader (such as VoiceOver or NVDA), testing by people with disabilities, a review by an accessibility expert, testing in Firefox, and testing on real Android devices. On the signing page only the opening screen was checked; the signing steps themselves have not been checked for accessibility.
Known limitations
- Property photos are labelled “Photo X of Y” rather than described; the property details are in the page text.
- The catalog and property pages have no “skip to content” link.
- In high-contrast mode the catalog’s filter buttons have no border; the selected one is shown in bold only.
- The catalog and property pages are in Hebrew only; the main site is in English only.
- The accessibility of the agreement signing steps has not been checked.
- WhatsApp links open an external service whose accessibility we do not control; you can always call instead.
- Other parts that are not fully accessible may come to light — please tell us.
